The word "Dishonor" is defined in the dictionary as "a cause of shame or disgrace". In recent years, one cannot help but notice the decline in creativity and craftsmanship in different genres of music, especially rap. These three young artists, collectively known as "Death Before Dishonor", have made it their goal to end the monotony of poor quality commercialized rap. They are dedicated to bring back true lyricism and style to the stereos of hip-hop fanatics.

Hardkore of DBD
Why this name?
Wizzy suggested the name due to a tattoo on his father's arm. That was the best name we could come up because it symbolizes our attitude towards unity and loyalty. We'd rather die than dishonor anybody we consider family, basically.
Do you play live?
We're rehearsing as we speak. DBD member Hardkore has been in a few freestyle battle competitions, but that's pretty much it so far.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We think the internet is the greatest invention ever for up-and-coming musicians to get their tunes heard across the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
LAB 'til the day we die.
Your influences?
Nas, Eminem, Jay-Z, the Wu-Tang Clan, Big Pun, Tupac, Biggie, Lil' Wayne, etc.
Favorite spot?
Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Anything else...?
DBD's debut album, Shuttin' Em Down, is available now. You should buy a copy.
