This Catholic recording artist writes music for people of all faiths, including a gospel song, You Were Always There, recorded in 1991 by New Faith, featuring Teddy Pendergrass.
David hopes that his songs will help in bringing of all faiths together to worship the Lord. His relationship with God led him to begin his life’s work as lay minister. His ministry is to share God’s word in song. Here are brief descriptions of his four albums:
Powerfully written and performed, Rosary Of Our Lady Of Sorrow contains beautiful and inspiring musical versions of the prayers of the Holy Rosary. Hear all of the mysteries spoken, including the Luminous Mysteries. The album features duets with Gretchen Harris, 2002 Unity Awards recipient of Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.
The Spanish version, “Rosario De Nuestra Señora De Dolores”, received the 2003 Unity Award for Spanish Album of the Year.
His newest album, “Mass Of The Lamb”, is also available in Spanish and contains fifteen songs, including Lord, You Are Holy Indeed (Eucharistic Prayer II).
David’s premier album, “Walk On The Water”, is a mixture of Country, Southern Gospel and Inspirational songs, featuring the classic praise song, Cause To Celebrate, written by composer John Bagniewski.

Why this name?
Humble Servant Ministries is a good name for what I want to do with my life, and how I want to be represented. Christ teaches us to be humble and to serve others, as well as to serve him.
Do you play live?
I am in a group called Catholic Artists For Relief. We sang at the 2002 Unity Awards, after having released a song and video called “You Are Not Alone” to raise money for the Pentagon Survivors Fund. The project was a success and the song received the 2002 Unity Awards for Song of the Year and nine other awards.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet offers another avenue for increased profits. At the Order Page on my website, I refer orders for my products to my distributor, HeartBeatRecords.com, and links to my on-line distributors, such as Amazon.com. This in turn increases their sales.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. I am going to stay with distributors. It is really the only way for my small ministry.
Your influences?
I have taken in everything from Mozart and Handel, to rock-and-roll and soul music. I listen to a lot of praise songs, hymns, and psalms at home and in my travels, and I receive much inspiration from them. Church has been a powerful influence, as well.
Favorite spot?
Nashville, Tennessee
