David Farquharson (Dj Day Day) is a producer and Dj from Scotland (UK). He has been producing music for 10 years and dj'ing for 5. You may have heard his mixes within SL and out. He has produced remixes for various producers including Rob EC (who tipped David as "one of Europe's hottest up and coming trance producers"), of which 2 are featured on his remix album available on iTunes.
When behind his decks, David's range of melodic trance to harder edged techno has audiences captivated from start to finish and throw in a few tracks sometimes hot out of the studio that week and you've got a truly original experience.
Why this name?
I felt keeping my own name added a certain uniqueness to a faceless market.
Do you play live?
I play 3 nights a week at various clubs in SL. You can find me in Night Residence, Paradoxia & The Pill Box.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Massively. Its a shame that at a younger age I didn't have this at my fingertips.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I think anyone who says no is covering up for something else. Being paid for doing what you love is a bonus but would also allow me to expand my studio and produce more technically advanced work.

With my main trance productions you may hear shades of Above & Beyond, Astral Projection and even Sander Van Doorn.
Favorite spot?
The Night Residence club in SL is where my heart lies. It's where I was introduced to the world of online dj'ing and houses some of the best clubbers in the world.
