Darksen (born Juan Armendariz in Argentina) is a Music Producer DJ and Sound Designer specialized in several forms of electronica music, particularly Progressive Trance and Ambient music. Biography
Born 22 May 1977, Darksen always had a deep love for sound and music. From an early age of 9 he learn how to play TV themes by ear on the Guitar. In his first years as musician (1992) Darksen plays Electric Guitar and make some chorus vocals in rock bands like Eire, Arsenico and Discromya but with a strong taste in progressive and trance music in 1998, Darksen set out to release trance music and so his first release with Sone Recordings came about in 1998. Since then, Darksen has released over a dozen of his tracks as 12" singles through several labels and under various artist names. Darksen also play as DJ in several Clubs in BA like La Clinica, Rivera Este, Jah-Bar, The Spot and several private party events.
Apart from being a Producer and a composer, Darksen is also a skilled sound designer. Darksen's journey as a Sound Designer started when he was gifted his first synth, a Yamaha keyboard which had 8 second sampling chip on it. As the years progressed, Darksen's Sound Designing skills changed with the change in platforms.
