Hi, thanks for coming by to listen! I am a guitarist/songwriter/singer from Burbank, Ca. I have a wide variety of music on my page. From my favorite, plugged-in rockin' blues, to finger picked acoustic guitar. I have a few collaborations with other Soundclick artists that I hope you will enjoy.

Why this name?
It's my own name.
Do you play live?
Very seldom. Sometimes at parties and other small functions.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's become a wondeful medium for artists from all over the world to get exposure to their music, as well as allowing many people to collaborate who normally would not be able to.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, depending on the circumstances.
Band History:
I've been playing guitar since the age of 13. I started learning multi-track recording in college, and bought my first Teac 4-track back in 1986. I wrote a lot of songs in the late 80's and early 90's and recorded many of them. I refined my modified finger-picking style and wrote and recorded a lot of ballads and country songs in the mid to late 90's. I bought a Korg D-1600 digital studio back in 2001 and soon discovered the wonderful world of digital recording. Currently, I play blues with my neighbor George Irwin, his son Ian Irwin, and Kurt Neufer from Soundclick, as well as other Soundclick folks. Kurt and I have collaborated on many songs over the last year and a half and we look forward to working on more as well. I am putting the finishing touches on a blues song featuring Kurt's harp, and another Soundclick artist, David Lunbeck on guitar...look for it coming soon!
Your influences?
Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, The Eagles, Dire Straits, James Taylor, Jim Croce, The Steve Miller Band, Toto, Vince Gill...and many, many more!
Favorite spot?
A dark little windowless dungeon somewhere in the bowels or Sun Valley, Ca!
Equipment used:
A Fender F265-C 6 string acoustic cutaway, a Yamaha FG-460S 12 string acoustic, an Ibanez American 540S Sabre electric, & a Kramer Striker 4 string bass. I record on a Korg D1600 digital studio. My keyboard is a Yamaha SY-22 synthesizer and I use a Suzuki Folkmaster harmonica.
Anything else...?
Check out this awesome song by David Lunbeck! He invited me to play lead guitar on it and I had a blast! What a cool song!

A song written 16 years ago, after my first kiss with the angel I would marry. Finger picking on my 6 string and vocals only, no fancy stuff!
This song represents the heartache and feelings of loss when going through a breakup. It compares these feelings to a warm tropical storm which is both needed as well as toublesome.
