Citizen Reign formed in late 2005 is the combination of the dynamic vocal stylings of lead singer Allen Wright and the gritty guitar work of Ryan Vergara and Sam Hickey. With the new addition of Patrick Antal on bass, Citizen Reign is ready to break through the music scene with a fresh, mega marketable Rock sound!!

Why this name?

Boomstick and Citizen Reign were the choices we had come up with. After a night of debating we decided on Citizen Reign.

Do you play live?

Seattle Metro area. We love the area up here. Not as much rain as everyone things. We actually get 4 seasons up here which is nice...

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Its made it easier for bands and song writers to get their music out there and be heard but it also made it more difficult in that everyone who picks up a guitar or things they have a good voice is posting it on Myspace, YouTube and all the other media sites. Its now harder for a good group to be heard because people have to sift through a lot more of the not so great stuff to find something decent.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes

Band History:

We've been playing together now for a little over 2 years. Our first album was just finished. Its been a long journey getting here. We first recorded the album over a year ago, talked with a few producers and decided we needed to re-record to get the album shelf ready. After a lot of time in the studio the album is complete and off to the printers. We are getting ready for summer and playing as many shows as we can.

Your influences?

Green Day, NOFX, 30 Seconds to Mars, Nickle Back, HoobaStank, Crossfade, Chevelle, 3 Doors Down are a few of the bands we may sound like. We love the pop/rock genre and would fit best in that category.

Favorite spot?

Las Vegas
