Welcome to Citizen Helene.
Do you play live?
I've played a few gigs in the past year, but only in places beginning with L.
Band History:
someone complained i had no biography so i thought i'd write something (consider it a placeholder for useful information). in response, here are a few things you might like to know about me:
i was born by the river in a little tent. (not really, it was actually a hospital. in london. so i suppose the river part is vaguely true.)
i've been making music for yonks now, beginning with some very dodgy piano lessons at the age of 8 (by the amount of piano you can hear in my songs, i think we both know how well those went). i taught myself the guitar at the age of 13, and i've been writing songs ever since. i'm also very much in love with the music of the beach boys, 60's sunshine/power/psych/baroque pop is a massive influence for me right now.
i haven't made a proper record as such, but there are plenty of home recordings/web EPs around. have a look on ebay, i'm sure there are many! *kids self*
i hate auto-tune.
i gig sporadically. it almost became 'regularly' when i lived in london but now i live in a cave* and i haven't played for months. i love gigging though, i'll play anywhere if i can. within reason, of course.
i have no idea what i'm supposed to write here, i hope that was vaguely entertaining at least. sorry i don't have any amazing quotes from anyone, i suppose i could get my brother to invent some but that would be cheating.
*actually a bungalow in dorset.
