Circleboy is a four piece acoustic act from Cardiff, UK - David Verso (vocals), Steve Morgan (guitar), Matt Harris (bass) and Mark Green (drums and percussion).
Circleboy completed their first album Roundtrip in the summer of 2002 (recorded at The Q Station Studios in South Wales) and has already received much appraisal both nationally and overseas.
The phrase "it hasnt left my CD player in weeks" has seriously been a regular occurrence for Circleboy.
The band has subsequently performed venues regularly in and around Cardiff and is now looking to take their act further a field.Band/artist history
Circleboy formed in the summer of 2002, originally with just three members - David, Steve and Mark. The 'Rountrip' album was completed shortly afterwards and Matt then joined on bass a year later.Have you performed in front of an audience?Quite regularly - usually around Cardiff, our home city, but we've done a few gigs elsewhere, especially London, which is notoriously a different experience with more of a mixed crowd to enjoy the music. Gigging is always fun when your up on stage, although the few moments before jumping on stage is always a touch nerve wracking, for all of us. Steve usually disappears for an hour or so before set to 'focus' and arrives back at the very last minute - can be very unnerving, as without him we'd be stuffed!
