This is just what it sound like; a Christian group doing Christian songs and poems.

Christian Cowboy Balladeers perform at Cowboy Gatherings, Church functions, and anywhere that people would enjoy good Christian entertainment.

We think it's for the better. We can reach out to a larger audiance.

We have our own label and would consider expanding.

Cowboy Church started in Canada. Howard Norskog has brought the idea into the U.S. and expanded on that idea. Now it is performed at rodeos, Cowboy Gatherings, and in the community and in the churches.

Our influences are diverse. If it is Christian music, it will probably be performed at our shows.

Our performances are mostly acoustic. We use a PA for larger venues. Most of our instruments are acoustic.

Mission Statement

The function of The Christian Cowboy Balladeers will be to enhance the glory of God through appropriate music and poetry as well as short prayers and commitment. The Christian Cowboy Balladeers will be available for Cowboy Poetry Gatherings, church programs, rodeos, or general participation in community events.

Members will conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times as they are representatives and role models of the organization. Off color music or poetry will never be a part of the criteria that make up the essence of the Christian Cowboy Balladeers and will be reason to ask for member dismissal.

This organization will stand for and pursue the concepts set down by the Holy Bible. We will uphold these concepts at all times and be role models to young and old alike, male as well as female. Remembering the pitfalls the young are most susceptible to in life, we will especially try to demonstrate the advantages of a relationship with the Holy Word by bringing the spirit to our gatherings through music, poetry and prayer.

The Christian Cowboy Balladeers will be only for the Glory of God and strive to that end. Any other design or intent for this organization is untenable.
