Charles Dubé is a multi-instrumentalist (not necessarily a "musician") currently residing in Western Massachusetts. He was born on the day Herbert Hoover died, but doubts that counts for anything.Band/artist history
"Multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Charles Dube has been a presence on the New England music scene for more than twenty years. Starting off on drums in his teens Charles helped found the seminal Connecticut punk band Chronic Disorder in the early 80s. After that he moved on to play drums with shock punk Jack Tragic, then drums with Hartford’s post-punk The Dispossessed in the mid-80s. By the late 80s Charles had switched to keyboards and collaborated with former Dispossessed member Leigh Gregory on a series of more acoustic-based recordings. By the mid-90s Charles embarked on a solo venture virtually playing all the instruments himself; collaborating with virtuoso musician & engineer Jim Chapdelaine on his excellent 1999 release Long Walks Off A Short Pier. His latest collection entitled Auguries of Innocence was released Spring 2006."Have you performed in front of an audience?No- there are laws against such things.
Actually, playing CBGB's in the early 80's was a cool experience, but that was a 100 years ago.
