Caustic Anal vomit: a devon (england) based noise/grind band. Producing nasty, primitive extreme metal.
Why this name?
Trying to think of stuff that sounded unpleasant. Then we thought of those times when you take a sh*** after a night of heavy liqour/drug abuse and that burning liquid sh*** sprays out and it stings your ass. Caustic Anal Vomit.
Do you play live?
Not at the moment, our vocalist is agoraphobic.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows anyone to access anything, and stops the huge corporations charging us £17 for a piece of shiney plastic. And gives chances for underground bands to easily spread their music further than just their local area.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't think it would happen to be honest
Band History:
McRancid was playing in a grindcore band called Paedophile Scoutmaster, and he wanted to make something more extreme. Haggard o'fat was playing in a punk band and he was coerced into making some proper music. CAV was born.
Your influences?
Early Mayhem, Anal cunt, Mortician, Burzum.
Favorite spot?
The local trainstation. The woods across from my house.
