THE FOLLOWING IS THE RIGHTS POLICIES FOR BASEMENT BEATZ


Leasing Rights


    Allows you to use the beat (or song) for one commercial broadcast, feature, or performance. This recording can then be distributed at your price for up to 2,000 copies. If you sell more than 2,000 copies you are required to purchase a new lease or you can ask about the Exclusive Rights to the beat. You may also use the beat for any online use or demo. You have full rights to record, alter, and mix the beat in any way you like. You are restricted from reselling the beat.

In thie event that someone purchases Exclusive Rights, you will still own rights to use the beat, but may no longer purchase a new lease if you sell more than 2,000 copies. Full production credits must be given to "Basement Beatz" or "BasementBeatz" on all recordings and distributions. This includes online distribution.

Upon purchasing a Non Exclusive Lease, the seller, Basement Beatz, will still obtain the rights to the beat(s) and will still be able to resell the beat until Exclusive Rights have been purchased.

Exclusive Rights

    You as the buyer will obtain full rights to the beat(s). The purchase of Exclusive Rights grants the following; the tracked out .WAV files, a mixed and mastered .WAV file, a mixed and mastered .MP3 file, a mixed .WAV file not mastered, the .PTF or Pro Tool Session file, and the Exclusive Contract signed by all members of Basement Beatz.

Free Downloads

    You as the downloader may record and mix the beat any way you like. This does not, however, include the removal of the vocal tags. Full production credits must be given to "Basement Beatz" or "BasementBeatz" on all recordings and distributions. This includes online distribution. If you plan on making money from the recording, you must purchase the Leasing Rights or Exclusive Rights to the beat(s).
