Unique to our last names: Tommy Bozung and David Moore.

Both Dave and Tom have toured extensively throughout the 1980's. Dave plays on a regular bases and Tommy joins him for festivals/concerts inbetween times. Tommy engineers, produces and performs in his studio located in Washington State.

Having experienced the record industry from both perspectives (24 track taped recordings and being signed to record labels) to (a completely independent record company, digital studio recording and internet distribution), I prefer the latter! The unique opportunites for artists are too numerous to count. It can all be summed up in on word "ARTIST CONTROL". I wouldn't have it in any other way!"

That depends upon the how well distibutors such as "SoundClick" and others help to promote and carry the torch for the artists further in the music industry game. As far as I am concerned, there may be no need for record companies in the future if and only if artists are selling CD's. It would appear that the necessary technology is already here, but the know how regarding sales and promotion cannot be as simple as a software application. Record companies have years of distribution know how and ORGANIZED/PREDICTABLE networks in place. So predictable that they can take a no namer and make them a star. That's not really my bag, but that is power nonetheless. To answer the question, it depends purely on the terms, the recording budget, the touring expectancy etc... There are alot of components to consider. I would just prefer "SoundClick" and others to put an end to the record companies altogether".

christian rock band.....Zion! Originating in Sioux Falls South
Dakota in 1981 and eventually becoming known nationally as well as internationally when the band signed with the east coast label IMAGE RECORDS in 1988. The group disbanded in 1992 after enjoying a very successful +11 years of ministry and releasing the cd "Thunder From The Mountain" which had five top ten hit singles! 2004 found the boys Rex, Marlin, Tommy & Dave reuniting in Portland Oregon in August on the 15th year anniversary of the recording sessions of "Thunder". The members are always working on new material of various styles and a new CD is coming out late 2006 or early 2007 of a collection of live cuts and rare demo's, and previously unreleased on cd tunes!
