I am a Singer/Songwriter trying to keep my songs alive.
Why this name?
It was my father's name. He chose it for me.
Do you play live?
Open mics wherever I find them, a few paying gigs here and there. Always for fun.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I stopped buying CD's a while ago. I like local stuff. The internet is like local stuff and plentiful, and inexpensive. It must be hurting the status quo. They will adapy, I'm sure.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't see myself a record company material. I would prefer to get my songs to others, those who would make them fly.
Band History:
I have been playing guitar for 30+ years. Along the way, I have tried to overcome my fear of performing for others. I have met some great people along the way.
About 6 years ago, I wrote my first song. Many more followed. But songs don't sing themselves. So, here I am.
I have made it my mission to do my best to promote them. Part of that is to record them. The other part is to get them to you.

Your influences?
John Prine, Steve Goodman, Steve Earle, Bob Delevante and Springsteen are my favorite writers. Maybe they have influenced my writing. I'd be the last to know. I'm told that I sound like John Prine, but I cover him a lot.

Anything else...?
After 30 years of "banging" on an acoustic guitar, I am finally getting better and also, getting interested in lead electric. Having a great time with music, and recording my songs.
