i grew up in chicago, but i always thought that i'm actually from jupiter...don't get me wrong the city is dope & i love earth but it seems like everyone down here is asleep. there's so much dirt goin' on that we all know about, but we're all complicit with our overwhelming complacency, & generally apathetic attitudes.

Portishead, dead prez, radiohead, the Neptunes, the Skatalites, D'angelo, B.B. King, Herbie Hancock, soul, jazz, classic rock, & trip hop... i make a neo-trip hop soul jazz, type of hybrid music...essentially, Prefuse 73 + the Neptunes = blackdaylight
What equipment do you use?
i actually play most of the instruments myself i also work with real live musicians, but i record & arrange tracks with acid & sound forge & fl studio 7 (the most complete, slept on, & affordable music production software program available period).
