If you've never been here before: I am a keyboardist and sometime sessionist pottering away at my first solo writing and production project which goes by the name Big Wheel, and was born in February 2006. It's a broad range of uplifting and musical electronica styles guaranteed to make your ears happy.

OK. SO here I am at the start of 2008: nearly two years in and still knocking tunes out. There's 21 tracks now. 2007 has been a good year for me: it started with a mention in Steve Gilmore's end of year plaudits, and went on to give me a wholly undeserved but fully relished win in the House Tournament. Thanks to everyone who voted me up there. Cool. I can't seem to shake off the dance tracks now though.

In 2007 I may have appeared quiet to the soundclick forums for a couple of months here and there, but I've also been working on remixes for other people and after some annoying headaches have finally got the 'big' studio upgraded ready for a flurry of activity in 2008. I'd like to find time to do more reviews, but I'm hoping to really step up to the plate this year and churn out some more thoughtful and interesting tunage, and that will take time and concentration, so reviews may have to wait a while.
