B'ehl

Female fronted pop quartet, featuring sweet harmonies and driving rhythms.

Since their formation back in the early 90's, B'ehl has earned a reputation for bouncy, jangly pop songs, devestatingly beautiful harmonies, and energetic live shows. According to Billboard Magazine, since the release of the debut album "Only A Paper Moon", "fans of the Sundays, the Cardigans, the Cranberries, the Go-Go's, and, to a lesser extent, the Breeders have been tripping over themselves in anticipation of B'ehl's follow-up album". And now, the wait is over. Led by the sweet vocals of Allison Somers and Melanie Barnes, and backed by the rumbling rhythm section of Bob Somers and Chris Hiebert (formerly of The Bonaduces), this Winnipeg quartet has just released it's second full length CD entitled "Bright Eyes", the followup to the critically acclaimed '97 release "Only A Paper Moon". Watch for a video in the spring of 2000 for the song "Waiting For June".
