I have been playing with records and beats for as long as I can remember. Started DJ'n in California in the early 90's and never got tired of the beats!!!
Why this name?
It describes me perfectly.....I am an addict when it comes to beats.
Do you play live?
Used to, now spend every minute I can in the studio "playin". It's so damn fun! Also, I am interested in producing quality talent for demos/label submission.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Definitely has a major impact in terms of getting "heard" by others. The ability to share and distribute music with others is a bonus. To think that someone is getting to experience music I have created on the other side of the planet is off the hook!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If there was an interest, I would consider it. I just love to produce and experiment. "It's all about the beats".
Band History:
I bought a keyboard in '98..the rest is history.
Your influences?
All over the board here. I love everything...really. From classical to thrash...I simply love music itself.
Favorite spot?
Santa Cruz, CA..especially in the summertime!!

My Baby - a Digidesign 002, Reason 2.5, Sonar, Roland MC-307, Korg Triton, DM-Audio Firewire 410, USB Midisport, Akai MPC 1000, mixer and turntables, Yamaha sampler, beer, Ding-Dongs.
