Why this name?
The name comes from a Eddie Izzard sketch, about why old ladies only ever buy dog food and hair nets.

Do you play live?
Occasionally.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great, I have friends who have been in bands for years that haven't been heard outside their home town. My music has been listened to in Australia, America and all over Europe. It nice that you can get out there to many more people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nope. Stictly the DIY route.
Band History:
Formed 2000, from the fragments of Rubik's Duvet.
Recorded and released a couple of tracks on this site in 2001.
2002 more songs being recorded as well as Live gigs. Carstairs and Carl and Roger now joined up...
2003 Carstairs and Carl and Roger quit and form the excellent "Don't lick Larry"
Autumn 2003 New website design and new songs on the way.
2004 - Sees the next batch of songs coming through. Enjoy!
Plus "Tilly" gets put on the Telford Rocks Compilation CD.
2005 - More new songs and possibly a reworking of a few old ones on the cards.
2005 also sees the expansion of the Hair Thieves with E on guitar.
2006 - EP1 was released at the end of January and quickly sold out. (It can be downloded from this site).
EP2 was released in September 2006
2008 EP3 will be released August 2008, with live gigs in August as well. The album will be released in 2009

Your influences?
Don't know who I sound like really. Lots of guitars and keyboards and stuff. Like Mansun, Marillion, Beck, Eels, Kate Bush or Radiohead, but without the talent.
