T-Bred, Conscious Rapper with a vision to teach the world. Raised in the streets of east-flatbush, Brooklyn, NY. Aint no doubt music is in my blood.
Why this name?
Thoro-Bred is a force, it define toughness. And T-Bred is unique cuz many people miss use the word thorobred too much. Mike " T-Bred " Murphy
Do you play live?
I perform alot mostly in New York and Florida. A performance at an outdoor concert in the hudson valley region,NY had people from politicians, to school teachers and parents thanked me for the songs I did that day...also everybody wanted to free style with me after the show, I had a great time.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The intertnet is an revolution, it changes the music industry alot. Its wonderful, its allowing me to share my artistic life with you, where I probably wouldn't be able to do, so easyly.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm with an Indie label who will sign with a major to carry my products (albums) to retailers. Yeah I would sign with a major if needed to.

Mike ” T-Bred “ Murphy, born and raised on the street of East Flatbush, NY, I now reside in Miami Fl. I’m a conscious rapper, the street wasn’t easy to grow up but you take what you got and deal with it. I been rapping since I was six (6) years old, some of the people I’m influence by to this day are NAS, Tupac, Gangstarr and AZ among others. I love substance, I’m making songs that touches people soul and make them do a little soul searching. My lyrics offer tales of passion, pain, struggle and triumph. A story-telling ability I feel god blessed me with, I wanna use it to teach people. A lot of issues I’m challenging myself to explore and exposed them to the people the best way I can. Life isn’t all that pretty or gritty however it’s somewhat in the middle, being an artist in this game is not easy, good message songs don’t get respect as much as meaningless songs do. I want to make a difference, I want to make people feel good, make them think and enjoy themselves the realest way possible. I’ve been doing this all my life, doing a lot of shows at community events and clubs in the past to prepare myself for the industry. I’m not downing the corporate world however I want to start a dialogue or a debate about how they operate. As a black male I’m pure and knowledgeable about the struggle my race been through, going through in search of a better life and that is something I cannot ignore. In my stories I talk about situation that arise upon me without any control or choice. I will spark many minds around the globe because I’m a force created by God. I’m just another human being living life.

Music artists influences me, period... But I love Pac, Gangstar, Biggie and NAS are good influences
Favorite spot?
NEW YORK, no place like New York, But Miami is the spot I love- warmer weather...
