We are a punkish/metalish band from the fine town of Warragul in Australia. Ross tries to play guitar and sing, Luke pretends to sing and play bass and Dave tries to call himself a musician by hitting pig skins. We write about such things as horror movies, personal experience, world issues and food. We do not restrict ourselves musically or lyrically.
Band/artist history
We formed as The Voorhees in 1996, played gigs and released 2 demos (Sprich Nomed and The Doug Conspiracy) then split in 1999. We reformed in 2003, recorded an EP called 'Life' and did gigs, original drummer Dan left and Dave joined, did more gigs and recorded next CD '13'. During our time we have had exposure in such publications as Kerrang and Buzz, made a special TV appearence, performed live on several radio showsand had our music used on DVDs including Home Grown Maniacs.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Normally in Warragul or Melbourne. Every show is a lot of fun. There have been so many special and funny moments.
Your musical influences
I don't believe we sound the same as any of these bands but we are inspired by many such as Bad Religion, SNFU, Strung Out, Guttermouth, The Vandals, Lagwagon, Iron Maiden, Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir.
