About the song
Based on a truly complicated relationship with a would-be girlfriend.
This was the first song I ever wrote on-line.
I recorded myself singing and playing acoustic guitar. Panned the gtr to the right and panned the vocal to the left and then converted it to an mp3 which I then emailed to my friend Ian Somers of Brundlefly & Limblfter fame. Ian took a couple of days and then sent it back to me exactly as you hear it (with the exception of the rain storm sample which I added later). I have another version of this song with a walking fretless bass but chose to go with Ian's version because its so textured and brilliantly moody.

Lyrics
Sunny Days (C) April 13, 2000 William Krueger
Sunny days you know your heart is burning
From the rays of being too long in the sun
You try and chase away these moody mondays
And get away just once to have some summer fun
And so you plan on being alone together at last
And spend the day having a picnic at the lake
She's gonna tell you that she loves you madly
And then it suddenly begins to rain...
And she turns away and makes you do the same
Its the same thing everyday
You get too close and then it starts to rain...(Why can't we ever change?)
Solo : (D, Gmaj7) x 4 = same as verse 1
Sunny days you know you've got me yearning
to be with you in the hot mid-morning sun
Can't wait tomorrow to be with you all day, girl
I really need to be with you and have some fun
And if you ever want to live together too
We'll have more time to do the things we ought to do
You know I'll always want to spend the summer
Making love and making love and making love with you
Doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
La la la la la
