With all these "politically correct" types that don't know anything about history going around trying to turn anything Confederate into some kind of hate symbol, we thought it was time to speak up for the South and the honorable name of Gen. Robert E. Lee. Hell Yeah!!!

I love to sit and pick on my old guitar in the shade,
sip Jack Daniels and homemade lemonade,

my wife makes biscuits with country ham,

I wake up for work every day before the mornin sun,
on weekends I watch the races and clean my gran'daddy's old shotgun,
I like fishin in the evenin down by the creek,
and every year we go to the beach for a whole week,

I like to sit on my porch in the evenins and whittle,
have red beans & rice for supper on Tuesday for vittles,
every Wednesday ham hocks and collard greens,

I love pickin on banjos and old dobros,
and listenin to the Grand Old Opry on the radio,
we love rockin' in the shade on the screened-in porch
and we don't give a damn how you do it up North
