The 'name game' refers to the fact that proud, militant 'religious' people are fighting over the name of God, whether they claim to be Jew or Christian or Muslim. That is the opposite of what they should be doing, because we are all children of God.

The "Great Spirit-Parent" mentioned in the song is God, whether you call it Jehovah, Elohim, Yahweh, Brahman, Tao, Allah, the Supreme Universal Consciousness, or whatever. There is one Divine Light-Energy-Source of our existence, the unspeakable eternal, primordial "Word" that was in the beginning and is made flesh in all of us. And it is very real.
