About the song
During tracking, there was a major thunderstorm happening outside! It was so bad that the floor leaked and the rain came rushing in during the session. The engineer kept rolling while his assistants gathered up any live cables while the band tracked. The thunder's real - none of the gear was damaged but we were all worried about getting electrocuted :) Kinda ironic...

The very beginning starts with Kevin (drums in studio) responding to Bobby's question about using the tambourine. Kevin said 'May just shake'. Throw it through a filter or two, treat it - laugh together during playback and, voila, in-joke that made it through production.
Lyrics
The hush from the rain, quieting the street
Lifting up, all our heat
Rain, falling down on me, teasing me with its melody
When you look at me that way,
Babe I'll blow your mind with all the words I say
I feel like, I've been living in a bubble,
Baby don't it feel good when we're getting into trouble

Hello, hello from the sky

A flash from the sky, openend up my eyes
To the life I'm livin
Rain, falling down on me, teasing me with its melody
I've lived many lifetimes in just one life with
love in the background, standing by I feel like
I've been locked away, waiting for a change to come my way

Hello from the sky
