Ummm well, this is just music that I write, then record whenever I get the chance. Most of my stuff is without vocals for the time being, since I kinda suck at writing lyrics and whatnot (I'm not all bad with the singing though... at least I think), but I digress.
I record my stuff using Cubase, a computer based program. I've finally gotten the hang of it, and it's AWESOME!!!!
That's all. I'll add stuff as I write and finish it (or at least have an instrumental finish).
Just look at the introduction... it fits right here too.
I used to play out with a band called Karma10 back in 07. But when my son was on the way, I decided to bow out. At some point, I would like to get back into playing live.
My influences are everywhere, from Nickelback to In Flames, Queen to Protest the Hero, and so on. Most of whats been uploaded so far is more of my mellow side. But I assure you there are some heavy tracks on the way.
For guitars, I use an Epiphone Les Paul Standard w/ Seymour Duncan pickups (JB in the bridge, '59 in the neck), and a Fender Strat (S/S/S). For acoustic stuff, I use my Ibanez AEF30E, and as far as my bass guitar, I use my Ibanez GSR200.
My only amp is a Carvin Master Tube Series 2x12 combo, but since I live in an apartment in a quiet neighborhood, I don't really get to play around with that a whole lot haha.
When recording, I rely on either my POD 2.0 (it may be old, but it has some killer tones), or my Floor POD Plus. For drums, I used a crappy Yamaha digital drum kit.
And here lately, I've been making use out of Fruity Loops. It's really been helping me become more of a composer.
Spread the word!!!!! If you happen to like what you hear, let other people know! I appreciate feedback and criticism (even if it's bad criticism). Whatever you have to say, let me have it!
