We were so close to have not recorded and composed this song. Good thing we staved off sleepiness. This is easily one of our best songs.

About the song
We were really close to not writing this song. During our first recording/composing session, we wrote three songs (Pariah, 100 and Effervescence) and we were starting to lean on doing covers. We had a fairly successful cover of Incubus' Pardon Me, but the next two attempts on two other songs weren't that sonically palatable. We scrapped the idea and Yano just strummed away with his 'SILENT HILL' riff (from the game). I wrote the lyrics akin to the game - a first-person account of a zombie walking around silent hill; and viola, one of our most promising songs was born.
Lyrics
Events pass me by as I lie waking half dead
barely dying still conscious powerless
my mind window to nothing

carnal lust
inspires me
to eat everything
carnal lust
devouring me

quiet hill
shrouded by mystery
quiet hill
scathed by misery

in my heart
in my thoughts
in my soul
im dying

events passed me by woke up barely undead
the moon was spying still conscious powerless mind my window to nothing

mystic moon
prodding calling me
mist of doom
compounds my misery

Samael...
Samael...
Samael...
