About the song
One of my songs I have written under the influence of something green ;) It describes the bond I share with fellow herbalists and the good times not forgotten because what's from the earth is of the greatest worth.
Lyrics
Whispers of endless conversations
Are echoing across my ears
We travel among the constellations
And yet we still remain right here
Over time my thoughts are slowin
To the rhythm of bold drums
And though the wind outside is blowin
I'm glad to be here with my chums

Chorus
It's okay we'll dance the night away
We'll dry the poison from our bones
But when it's time to leave we'll have to say
We sold our future for these stones
At least we know we're not alone
Before it's time to wander home

And so we find ourselves just waiting
For eternal bliss to end
And just before the pictures fading
We'll clearly see our thoughts do bend
While the fiery flames were frightful
It helps to purge our troubled souls
So you can see we are insightful
Despite the plight that takes its toll

Chorus

Bridge
Cry little one, don't forget my son
You can play just as long as you're having fun
For you'll fall before you touch the ground
And you thought you were lost
But you wouldn't be found
Odelay Odelay Odelay Olay!
We're off the track and we've gone astray
But to find ourselves once again
We'll ensure that we still have our truest friends
Cuz you never know when, it'll be your end
