About the song
Just another experiment with the MM6 sythn. Standard voices but played through my Crate FXT guitar amp with multiple effects. I was watching the Olympics in between recording the seperate tracks. The title seemed appropriate.
The sythn is a standard MM6 voice played with appegio. I then added an accoustic tamborine track to get a basic rhythm. The drum sound is added via the MM6 again but it's recorded on two tracks, one 'dirty' played through the Crate amp with distortion & FX, the other 'clean' through the Peavey keyboard amp.
The lead guitar is added last and is a played on and LP100 through the Crate. I took several takes at it and I am still not happy, there's too much on this version
