About the song
My grandfather was a prisoner of war in germany from 8th september 1943 to 12th April 1945. I collected some info and photos to tell his story, but I was impressed so much to write a score about him and all who suffered from war.
The three movements tell "The memory of them", "The struggle of war", "The coming back home".
