As a kid I found sanctuary in the music of The Beatles. When things were bad at home I would put Meet The Beatles on my brothers turntable and dream of one day writing my own songs. I started playing guitar when I was 14 and wrote my first song at the age of 26. While my musical tastes have expanded over the years I am still a hug Beatles fan. I am a solo performer in Phoenix, Arizona. When I perform live I cover a variety of artists ranging from The Beatles and The Who to Sinatra and Gershwin. I am very excited about my latest C.D., "These Times". It's my third C.D. and this one is very different from the other two. Being a huge John Lennon fan I made an attempt at mirroring the sound from Lennon's Plastic Ono Band album. I love the feel and the sound of that album. Click on the link below to buy your copy. PETER MACINTYRE: These Times
I play live at The Holiday Inn North, The 5th Ave Cafe, Fiddlers Dream and and variety of Open Mic nights throughout Phoenix, Arizona.
My greatest musical influence comes from The Beatles. I have listened to them since I was eight years old. Their music, their personalities and view on the world greatly shaped who I am today as a person and as a musician.
I play a Yamaha APX 7 and a Taylor 310. I play through a Peavey Acoustic amp using an Sure SM 58 Mic.
