About the song
I knew a goil named laura S. when I lived in Ontario as a teen, she was the younger sister of a classmate I adored at that time (Wendy), and her sister Laura swore to me confidentially one day that she was a wiccan, and that she could fly. I knew she was putting me on, but she was great, and a part of me truly believed that she could. And I burned to reason how she could at all. A playful concept worth entertaining. So Laura Flies.
Lyrics
Who says you
Can fly through the sky
I wanna know

Who says we're the same
Riding the same plane
I wanna know

Who dreams in color
Skies that never fall
Must be sitting in an elegant hall
Where dreams are for real
Tho awkward is the night
As it tumbles over dying day
Who says
Who says

Laura fly
Deep blue sky
I feel the coming rain
Laura flies down to the earth
And comes back again and again

Take off your wings for a while
Dazzle me with your wizened smile
Dream with me of an eagle's eye
Looking down below to a restless child

Laura fly
Deep blue sky
I feel the coming rain
Laura flies down to the earth
And comes back again and again
