As the cold winds of adversity blow
And our very foundations are rocked by roaring waves
Yet in some there is a compelling passion
To seek out reason, understanding and truth
And are willing to risk all they have to find it
As in the days of old when men of renown
Searched for new and distant lands
in their ships of wood
