About the song
A rock instrumental I came up with for you to jam to. Straight 4/4 time. I'm using a Hamer Newport Korina Pro Guitar. The Boss CE5 stereo chorus is turned to about 1/4. I took off the edge with some finger strumming.
The sound is rounder than the version with the AE-185. It's kind of like Creedence Clearwater Revival in a late 60s rock blues style.
As you can hear from the song, the Newport is not the same as a Gibson ES-335. I liken it more to a telecaster with a lot of blues humbucking throat on the low end. On the mid and high range it is very articulate as you can hear in the segue in the key of A at the end.
Whatever you come up with is yours.
