About the song
Recorded in a chilly bedroom in a house in Arlington Heights, MA.
I played my Gibson ES-340TD semi-hollow electric guitar through a Shure Hi-to-Lo-Z converter, and sang with a Shure SM-57 mic. Both sources were fed to a Pioneer CTF-1000 cassette deck through a Shure M68 mixer. By monitoring the playback head and connecting the headphone output with this signal to another channel of the mixer, I was able to add a little tape delay to the mix - live while recording in mono to the record head of the cassette machine.
