A strange little ditty with afro-latin influences, some call it marching reggae. It has a positive message and probably sounds like something you never heard before.

About the song
The melody came to me with the line "Just take a pinch of kindness in your heart". I consumed me for several days before I started to construct the song which was basically built from the drums up. A new and differnet approach for me.
Lyrics
Everyones so busy just trying to live their lives
We seldom notice that the world is full of strife
“Sure we see and here it” on the evening news
But theres nothing more anyone of us can do
Remember 9/11 we were all united then?
It was a time of passion a time to take a stand

We go about our business cause its all behind us now
“But thats alright I guess” cause we need to carry on
All our men and women are out there in a war
While we sit here pretty and fuss about our lives
We dont need to wait for another hurricane
To prove we have compassion to show a little love

Just take a pinch of kindness in your heart
Mix it with a dash of “I can do my part”
Take a little time and show someone you care
They can pass it on like something in the air
Take a cup of passion and pour into life
With a little love you can be a guiding light
You can spread the word one person at a time
Thats how you make the world a better place to be

Mothers teach your daughters fathers grab your sons
Show them that the heart will set their spirits free
Free them from the hatred that plague us all today
They can lead the way to a better generation
Remember 9/11 we were full of anger then?
But with a little time our hearts began to mend
