About the song
I wanted to write a Donovan type song, "first there is a mountain" and all that...so it ended up being about my garden my wife's garage and the chorus is St Cathrines Dock in London...

Also the guitar is played in what I think is called the Nashville tuning which is where you string a 6 with the octave strings from a 12, it gives a high ringing type sound...
Lyrics
T’s Garage

The fox he knocks on my front door
I don’t know who he’s lookin’ for
Hedgehog sleeps the winter through
In T’s garage in my old shoe

The rime of frost has gone at last
And crocuses burst through the grass
Day by day the cold months go
They fade like footprints in the snow

There’s a white house across the harbour
It’s reflected in the pool
It’s so pretty in the sunshine
With the swan’s reflection too

That’s nice

Magpie sits on my back lawn
It can’t be long since she was born
Woodpecker taps morse to me
From his vantage in the tree

Now the air grows warm and still
And I can sit and breathe my fill
Day by day the cold months go
They fade like footprints in the snow

There’s a white house across the harbour
It’s reflected in the pool
It’s so pretty in the sunshine
With the swan’s reflection too
