1. Hiljaa jouluyössä
kanssa paimenten
me odotamme ihmettä,
ja pimeyden keskellä
soi laulu enkelten,
soi laulu enkelten.
2. Tähti meidät johtaa
luokse Jeesuksen.
Ja Beetlehemin seimessä
me katsomme ihmettä:
on lapsi niin suloinen,
on lapsi niin suloinen.
3. Siellä saamme nähdä
armon kirkkauden.
Me polvistumme seimellä
ja palvomme ihmettä:
oi, joulun lapsonen,
oi, joulun lapsonen.
4. Silmistänsä loistaa
rakkaus taivainen.

Jumala on lahellä

with the shepherds
we are waiting for the miracle:
in the midst of the darkness
sounds the song of angels,

2. The star is leading us
to Jesus.
In the manger of Bethlehem
we are watching the miracle:
the child is so sweet,
the child is so sweet.
3. There we can see
the glory of the grace.
We kneel down at the manger,
we worship the miracle:
oh, the child of Christmas,
oh, the child of Christmas.
4. From His eyes is shining
the heavenly love.
All is the great miracle:
God is near
and the love everlasting,
and the love everlasting.

Psalm 27:4 "One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to enquire in his temple."
