Lyrics
Farmer’s Son
He’s the son of a farmer’s son
Raised on the land
But times have gotten bad
He struggling for what they had
He hit hard times in farming
So he came to the factory
If he had it his way
He’d never come to the city
And Daddy we won’t plant no seeds before winter
It would really hurt Grandpa’s pride
But the winds of changes are blowing
We have to stand strong and
Keep our pride
He wants to keep his family farm
It’s been in the family for years
But the times have gotten tough
And it’s hard to make a living
So he works all day in the factory
Working in the city
In hopes of saving his family’s farm
He’s got to make a living
He’s the son of a farmer’s son
Raised on the land
But times have gotten bad
He struggling for what they had
He hit hard times in farming
So he came to the factory
If he had it his way
He’d never come to the city
And Daddy we won’t plant no seeds before winter
It would really hurt Grandpa’s pride
But the winds of changes are blowing
We have to stand strong and
Keep our pride
He wants to keep his family farm
It’s been in the family for years
But the times have gotten tough
And it’s hard to make a living
So he works all day in the factory
Working in the city
In hopes of saving his family’s farm
He’s got to make a living
