This song has grown with the years, first I wrote the music of the first part as a musical interlude for another chorus in the early 80’s. Then the second part of music came to me in another part of my life. It was in the early 90’s that the words came to me in another language in a very low moment of my life, when I really, really needed him. The last words I really just decided to add as I recorded this version, they come from Lamentations 3.
