The Noisemakers ceased being a live performing band and now all efforts by the remaining members have been diverted to other projects. Though now somewhat a fictional band, from time to time, members reunite for studio projects of one form or another. With the explosion of Home based studios and the Internet, The Noisemakers continue in some form or another, by recording and or releasing new and old material. Much of the styles that are popular today, were the type The Noisemakers used to write years ago. What will the future hold? Keep an ear open and listen to the noise to be generated, and you may find out! The Noisemakers continue to be and will always be about original music in all styles, “Hey, it’s all noise to us!”
Band/artist history
The Noisemakers concept was formed in the late 1970’s by Fred Ceballos. The name “Noisemakers” originated when repeated requests of neighbors complaints about “that noise that those kids are making”, were made known to parents and police. With the addition of band members who’s high pitched screaming antics began shattering eardrums everywhere, the name became official. What made the Noisemakers different from other bands during that time was, that they wrote their own original material and still do from styles ranging from (what is now known as) Alternative Rock to Country. As the years progressed, the band played clubs in Hollywood and the greater Los Angeles area. As the band continued playing clubs, studio production was pursued and in 1985 the single “I Hate Love” and “Can’t Play the Blues in the Snow” were released. Though the single only had limited airplay on local radio stations, the creative juices stirred by the studio production process opened up a new avenue for the band to explore.
