Krys Baker, "I traveled to New Mexico and back in eight days during the Summer of 2006. Nominally, it was a songwriting trip, but truly I didn't know whether I'd return at all. I've completed 6 songs from that trip and still have ideas for several more. When I pulled back into my driveway after having driven 26 hours straight from Kansas City to play a poker game, the mileage of the trip was 5321 miles. Hence this song.
