The Scarecrow from The World of Tezlon:
Narzya created them while imprisoned in a
villiage and was preparing to be excuted the next
morning, as he looked out across the farm fields, he
saw a lone figure perched on a wooden cross...it was
his salvation, he gave life to the scarecrow to free
him, then continued to create more and more of
them..without emotions..without fear he massed an army and began his campaign across Tezlon. After Narzya was defeated, and spell was broken, the Scarecrows led by Jaymolok saw the error of thier way, and began helping to repair the damage they had wrought...several of the Heroes of that time rewarded them with a map of lands beyond the Western Sea that had lush fields, and hills that was empty of life...there the scarecrows began constructing thier cities, and tending crops..becoming a new race in tezlon..so thier tale is one of sorrow then of redemption.
