My first try at this genre. Though I listen to it a lot. I have actually never written a full song. This one started off while I was sitting at my brother's cabin in the summer. I began to simply soak in the peacefulness of the whole area - no sounds other than nature itself. From there a connection was made between the peace of God and the chaos of the "Dragon" itself and a very strange dichotic metaphor was born.

Taking the subway train to slide through busy streets.
Intersection cameras strain to sneak a peek.

Sirens call out warnings of their painful plight.
Bying sex from thirteen year old importees.
Drifitng silver Hondas just like PS3.
Crackling tazers kill to keep the broken peace.
It's all changed from how He meant the world to be.

We all see the wonders of the healing and we
Follow just like lemmings to our grave.
Fire flashes and we all give cash and
Then the statue speaks that we should worship him.

Saunter into hallways angry at the world.

Some will starve to death but we can drive our cars.
Maybe some should say we think we've gone too far.

"Mercy, Mercy," cries the Dragon, blaming.
Never stops the words that drive us to our grave.
Accusations, lies, and condemnation
Seeking reputation in His social grace.
