SENECA, Mo. A few miles past Seneca, down dusty Crow Road, Rich McCready is harder at work than ever, devoting every ounce of energy to a musical career thats been gaining noticeable momentum. For an independent artist at this time, I think we are making a lot of headway, said the 36-year-old Seneca native who lived in Nashville, Tenn., for a while to further his career as a traditional country singer, writer and guitar player. "Right now its just work, work, work" said McCready, who has his own recording studio on the Seneca farm of his parents, Doc and Ramona McCready. I am probably the busiest I have ever been in my life. Between one or two rehearsals a week and bookings every weekend, McCready has little time to devote to his Four State Tree Service, which he said he tries to get involved in two times a week. "Every weekend is pretty much booked through New Years", he said. We are holding out for that
