About the song
the song itself pretty much tells the story.

this was written about a week ago; i wasn't going to upload it, but i thought if nothing else it's good for contrast.
the fact that it was written with a guitar, pen + paper and recorded with a $5 mic kinda makes me feel better about my lack of gear.
Lyrics
chorus:
|: Dm | F | Asus2 | E :|
it doesn't matter how much gear i get i'm always wanting more
it doesn't matter if it wouldn't fit, or if i am sh*** poor
it's an addiction and i need a fix, i just need one more score
it doesn't matter i just bought a matrix, there's always so much more

verse:
|: G | Dm | Am | Am :|
so i sit up late at night reading reviews
can't wait 'till january to get some more NAMM news
the moog voyager she always makes me drool
but i ain't got 3 grand, my money has left it's fool

|: C | G | Am | Am | F | Dm | Am | Am :|
oh, that fizmo sounds so cool
and i want an arp, they're so old school
the hartmann neuron i'll never afford
and of course, i long for a nord

(chorus)

v2:
|: G | Dm | Am | Am :|
oh native instruments, you got a hook in me
B4 + reaktor, absynth, pro 53
i want an FM7, battery and kontakt too
plus a waves bundle pack, but that would cost an arm or two

|: C | G | Am | Am | F | Dm | Am | Am :|
oh, what wouldn't i give for a virus C
and a mackie monitor or 3
there's so much gear i'd love to score
but something tells me, there'll always be more
