An anti-anthem that deals with the darker side of humanity. It's about the self and what we have hidden in the depths of our minds. When it comes down to our very core, we can't change who we are and the horror is always trying to get out.

This song is a bit of an attempt to write something epic and with a lot of movement while still maintaining a sort of trance that is hard to get away from. I always like the one chord song Tomorrow Never Knows and wanted to do something similar. I wrote the second half of the song first and thought "this is really good, but it needs a little lead in". The end result is something that is a bit reminiscent of a good Radiohead tune with a heavier sound and streamline yet complex composition.
