I only have one regret in life, and that is that I’m not actually Michael Stipe. That’s all the explanation you’ll need for this song. There’s some rather timid cello buried somewhere in the mix on this track, but the arrangement is quite nice and I think the harmonies work pretty well. This is another song that has been revisited a couple of times and there is currently a piano-driven version (complete with a new middle 8) up on our myspace page.
