One of the easiest tunes i ever wrote, it just fell out of my guitar one day when i was jamming about, also it turned out to be a bit of an improvised recording which i love to do, with both the bridge and last solo sections being invented on the spot!, musically this took on a life of its own once i found the guitar sound that powers the tune along, with the solo's being something im very proud of as again i never pre plan them and listening now i still can't believe its me playing them as they are some of my finest solos i think i've ever done.

The song's words about freeing yourself from a dissapointing life and looking to take a chance still ring true to me now and this tune is probably the catalyst that fired me up to finally play live, it also has huge emotional worth to me and still makes me cry when i listen to it, although thankfully when i play it live stripped down solo acoustically I contain myself!!! :).
