About the song
"In a Perfect World" was the fourth and final song written about the girl who got away. Is till had some emotions and thoughts to vent and deal with so out came this song. The ending of this song was based of an idea that I could take a phrase “What would Paul McCartney Do?” and blow it up into a Beatle-esqu / Beach Boys type refrain. I think it worked out.
